I was very excited to try these products as they are the first Mary Kay products I've tried. So lets start with the review. There are only a handful of body showers that I really dislike, for the rest of the case I really love trying out different body wash. Shower is like a therapy for me, and the more delicious or relaxing the smell of the body wash, the better. Mary Kay® 2-In-1 Body Wash & Shave have a nice scent, to me it smells like lotion. It doesn't smell bad, but I prefer something more fruity or floral. The gel texture is very liquidy, smooth, colourless and easy to lather which is a plus considering most gel wash do not lather so much. As a body wash to me it functions just as a normal body wash would, nothing too special. As a shaving gel, it works but I find it better to use it on dry skin then wet because when it's on wet skin it lathers and washes off too quickly that I had to keep on adding more product, which I think it's a waste.

The Mary Kay® Hydrating Lotion have the same smell as the body wash. The texture is not too thick and it absorbs pretty fast into the skin but it doesn't absorb completely. I can feel that layer of lotion on my skin and it stays that way until I wash it off. But it does a good job in hydrating my skin. I recommend using it before bed time as it is not travel or on the go friendly.

Overall, I think these products works well and in terms of the price, it depends on how well the products work for you. I don't feel any sensitivity on my skin after shaving using the body wash and the lotion really hydrates my skin. If you are looking for a more budget friendly product, I won't recommend this for you. I have heard a lot of good products from Mary Kay, and I'd like to try more products from them if I have the chance.
