Earlier this month I placed an order for Sugar Glider accessories. After almost a year making my own non-sewing accessories, I thought it was time my sweet suggies get something cute :) I have been wanting to get them from SugarCavie for a while, everything she makes is so cute and you can customize it to your liking, so when I earn a bit of extra cash from part time work I ordered them as soon as I can >.<

My love for makeup ignited when my cousin Weyna first introduced me to the amazing beauty guru in YouTube, Michelle Phan. And I've been dying to be able to purchase an ipsy bag from Michelle (formally known as Glam Bag) but sadly they don't ship it internationally :( I am happy however, that in search of a Malaysian beauty box, I came across Mivva.com :)

If you're not familiar with what a beauty box is, it is a box containing various beauty, skincare and makeup products. Different types of beauty box provide different brands of products, so definitely check out what brand they carry first to see if they have any of your favorite brands or any type of brand you've been wanting to try out. A beauty box usually contains sample sizes but they do give out full size products as well. I guess it depends, again on the brand and the price of the box. They can be purchased online and the payment method also varies between different brand of beauty boxes. In the case of Mivva.com, you can pay online or bank in. Mivva.com box is only at RM 38 per box per month.

This would be my first beauty box purchase, how exciting!

We've all been told and taught time after time that "prevention is better than cure". It's one of the simple things that we take for granted mostly because of our busy schedules. If we choose to have long lasting healthy young skin, we have to start paying attention on how to protect our skin. I know we won't be young forever but we can still look young longer! :)

Hi & welcome to my very first post! (aside from the welcome post haha)

Last semester, we had to individually create a commercial of a known product. I wasn't instantly inspired, in other words, I didn't have a clue how to go about it much less what product I wanted to choose. Luckily my lecturer was very patient ;P After a long thought, of course I would choose to do a commercial about a makeup product. This was the time when Gangnam Style song exploded and as weird as it sounds (not the song, but where my idea originated), that song gave my inspiration the kick boost it needed. And of course, it has to be a comical commercial if you are using Gangnam Style song ;D

Welcome to Sweet Vanity & Shutter Speed :) My aim for creating this blog is to share my love for beauty, photography and film making. The decision making process of this took a pretty long time, plus the fact that I can be very OCD and particular about the little things held me back from publishing this blog sooner. But I am very satisfied on how it turns up and I will be making slow progressions until it is how I envisioned it ;)

Just so you know, I am not an expert in what I do, I know I am a long way from earning the title Professional but I am very happy to keep learning, exploring and expanding my field and what I love doing.
