Kinohimitsu Luau Party with The Butterfly Project

Last November, The Butterfly Project Malaysia and Kinohimitsu collaborated and hosted a Hawaiian themed party in conjunction to launch Kinohitmisu's latest health drink, the Bio-Booster.

The party took place at Villa Manja Spa. An urban sanctuary where you can go to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life. It's amazing that you can find a place so serene and beautiful at the heart of the city in KL. With the Hawaiian decorations and everyone was greeted with an "Aloha" and lei, I did feel like I was transported into another world!

The emcees of the night were Tammy and Illy. It was their first time "officially" hosting an event and they were natural! Illy was the sweet one while Tammy cracked jokes and made us laughed all night. Kinohimitsu really outdid themselves with the decorations, displays and booths. We all get a cute little card which was stamped each time we visited a booth. There were four booths by Kinohimitsu; Mocktail, Boost, Spin the Wheel & Gifts. Booths from Villa Manja for a quick head & shoulder massage, and one awesome photo booth by 123cheese.my.

The event started off with the introduction of the new Kinohimitsu J'pan Bio-Booster. We were briefed with colourful carts about the many benefits of this health drink. It's purpose is to help our body absorbs twice the amount of nutrients than it normally would. Using the Tri-layered Micro-encapsulation Technology, with a heat protective film and a gastric acid & bile resistant layer, it protects the good bacteria in the Bio-Booster all the way to our intestine. Once it reaches our intestine, it helps to clear off harmful bacteria and toxins. It also helps to further break down the semi and undigested food and aid in the synthesis of energy-promoting vitamin B. This is how the Bio-Booster helps in making our body absorbs nutrients more efficiently.

The Bio-Booster is good for those who suffers from low immunity, nutrient deficiency, weight gain, weak digestion, constipation or diarrhea, leaky gut and allergies. It's also good for alcoholic drinkers and can be taken after an antibiotic course. Instead of the normal glass bottle style packaging, the Bio-Booster comes in a sachet packaging. After the introduction, we were greeted by two celebrities that shared with us their personal experiences with Kinohimitsu. Both of them look gorgeous! The girl, Miss Kinohimitsu, Azalea, said she become fairer, more active and healthier after consuming Kinohimitsu health drink over time. It helped with her lifestyle where she is constantly exposed to the harmful UV rays during outdoor photo shoots as a model. The guy (I forgot the name >.<) likes to workout and he claims that drinking Kinohimitsu health drink helped him achieve his 6 packs. If that doesn't sell you, I don't know what does haha.

After that, comes the exciting games! We were divided in to groups of 5. Our challenge was to use several items to absorb, transfer and fill a bottle with water. Items include sponges, clothes, etc. This game is actually quite popular but they chose it because it can be considered as a hands on demonstration about the Bio-Booster, in this case, the Bio-Booster is the item that absorbs the most water. Simple yet genius!
Then comes the time to explore the booths and have our dinner. The Mocktail booth is where we can get crazy and party! Lol just kidding. It's where we get to try one of Kinohimitsu popular drink, the Collagen drink. Non-alcoholic so no worries, it's not that kind of party haha. The glasses do look deceiving no? But I think it's cool. The Boost booth is where we can go to learn more about any Kinohimitsu products, particularly which ones that are suitable for our personal lifestyle and need. This is very helpful, since sometimes it's quite hard explaining about the products to 50 bloggers at the same time lol. We can also try the latest Bio-Booster drink, which taste refreshing and has a sweet lychee flavour.
Spin the Wheel booth is where we stand a chance to win cool prizes. There were 3 Grand Prize worth RM 348 which was a full spa package by Villa Manja. These grand prizes were won before we even made it half way through the party! Congraz to the very lucky winners. I won myself a cute Kinohimitsu USB fan. The Gifts booth was obviously to collect our awesome door gifts for the event. Each Butterfly received a one month's supply of the latest Kinohimitsu J'pan Bio-Booster (worth RM 159) and a set of beauty drink (worth RM 80). So generous of Kinohimitsu right?! And we were the first to try this new product ;)

What made me felt more like I was at the beach was the barbecue dinner. It was what I looked forward to the most! Lol, I haven't eaten a thing that day, I only realised that after I smelled the delicious food haha. After that, it's time to mingle and take lots and lots of photos! I have to say, this is the best experience I had with a photo booth. I really like the concept provided by 123cheese.my. It's like they set up a mini studio. The equipment was complete, 2 lights, a professional looking backdrop, camera attached to a computer for instant printing, and a lot of fun & cute props to choose from. Not to mention that the staffs were very friendly and professional. The camera girl was super nice too.

Just before the party ended, there was a belly dance performance. They were amazing! They really know how to capture all of our attention and mesmerised us with their swaying hips haha. And after the performance, some butterflies show of some of their hula dancing skills too. Then Tammy & Illy announced the Instagram and the best dress winners. Congrats girls!

Overall, it was an amazing night. The event was well organised and I know we all had a lot of fun there. Thanks again to The Butterfly Project and Kinohimitsu for the unforgettable experience.

@Yomi, It was fun, if there are no events where you are, why not you make your own! Start small first, have a get together, you can work your way from there :)
