Elianto Brilliant Riche Lip Colour Review

Saturday, November 08, 2014

Hi Everyone!

Today I will be reviewing one of my favourite matte liquid lip colours which is Elianto Brilliant Riche Lip Colour. I also did a video about it which you can watch at the end of this post :)

Before I get into the review, here are the claims of the product:

"Elianto Brilliant Riche Lip Colour is their 1st Kiss Proof Lip Colour that comes in 6 vibrant matte shades with filming polymers and volatile oils for a natural, kiss proof performance. Arresting bright pops of colour make a statement in intensely rich, vivid shades. In one stroke of pure colour, the sensorial creamy fluid shapes lips with an extremely light veil. The weightless micro-fine pigments in a gelled system guarantee a smooth glide when applying. The colour adheres to lip, dries quickly and last longer, leaving a comfortable smooth and transfer resistant finish. Lips remains soft and velvety, while the colour is long lasting and transfer-free. Formulated without parabens, fragance, D5 or talc. Made in Italy."

Major ingredients: Boswellia Serrata (anti inflammatory) & Sesame Seed (hydration)

Usage: Apply evenly to clean, dry lips.

So, in other words, Elianto Brilliant Riche Lip Colour claims to be transfer resistant, long lasting, weightless, gives a vibrant matte finish and is intensely rich. I have to agree on all of those counts. My first impression of these lip colours is that they made me fell in love with matte colours. When I first applied it, my lips did not fell dry at all, not even through out the whole day. Even though at times it can look a bit drying but it does not dry my lips at all. It is transfer resistant but it can also be easily remove with oils. I wore this all through out Raya and it didn't last long because of all the rendang and oily food I ate lol. And I also find that you do have to apply on dry lips (not chapped or anything) with nothing underneath. I once wore it on top of a lip balm and the lasting power was not so good. So make sure to blot any access moisture/oil from your lip balm on your lips before apply this. The application of these lip colours is effortless. The colours glide on smoothly and they are very pigmented. The textures are creamy but on the dry side, almost like a moose. As for the colours, my favourites would be 04 Sexy and 06 Wild. I love them both equally, I use 04 for a natural look and 06 anytime I'm in a sexy mood *wink wink* I love that 04 Sexy is my perfect MLBB lip colour while 06 Wild give me a more mature and sultry look. My least favourite colour would be 01 In Love because it doesn't suit my skin tone so well and it is very difficult to work with. With these lip products, the darker the colour the better the colour pay off and application. One down side I noticed is that it does not apply smoothly on very dry or chapped lips and it can accentuate the lines on your lips, but it's not so noticeable with the darker colours. If you want to avoid this, you have to make sure to fully moisturised your lips before hand.

Overall, I really love these lip colours. They are so perfect for everyday wear especially to those who loves matte and long lasting lip colours. When I got these they were RM 25, but the price has increased to RM 29. I think RM 25 was a lot more affordable so I suggest you can get this while one promotion or sales. Check them out at your nearest Elianto store or you can also purchase them online! Sometimes they will have discount, deals and free shipping :)
