December 2013 Favourites: Fighting Pimples

Hi everyone!
December was all about combating pimples. My skin is combination to oily and I get occasional pimples especially during that of the month. I don't know why during December my pimples were bigger and a lot more than usual :( So these are my trusty weapons I use in fighting pimples.
1. St Ives Blemish Control Green Tea Scrub
This is a gentle scrub. The beads are very very small that you can't feel it so much. But it does a good job in scrubbing my face clean. And I love the smell of it. It smells kinda sweet and fresh. It really soothes me when I use it.
2. YADAH Anti Trouble Bubble Cleanser
This is a foam cleanser and it's really good at keeping pimples at bay and removing dirt and light makeup. The foam doesn't feel harsh and it may look like a small amount but one pump is enough for the entire face.
3. NARUKO Tea Tree Purifying Clay Mask & Cleanser in 1
This mask has a very strong tea tree smell and it feels very cooling on the face. This can really help reduce redness and shrink pimples.
4. The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil
I usually use this before bed time so I can leave it overnight. It treats pimples but it takes time to do so. But it still works.
These products work well for me and might be different for different people. They can also be drying to the skin so I make sure to keep my face moisturised :)

i once tried Yadah Anti Trouble Bubble Cleanser but it does not really work on me, while its sister Yadah Bubble Deep Cleanser works like magic on me, now I'm on my 3rd bottle of it ^_^ that TBS Tea Tree Oil is my favourite too! I kinda bestow upon it as my official acne treatment coz others dont work on me except Mario Badescu which is friggin' expensive for a student. Kalau takde tea tree oil ni memang gelabah la jiwa, and it works well despite having to wait a few days baru surut jerawat but it's better than products yang guna sampai habis pun xde kesan, kan? ;)
ReplyDelete@Mieza I actually use the Yadah Deep Cleanser on normal days hehe. That one works well for me too! You have tried Mario Badescu? How long does the bottle last and yes it's very expensive huhu...Yea true about TBS Tea Tree Oil. I used to use OXY but it was too drying.
