APHCA Hair & Makeup Olympics Competition

Hi everyone!
When you hear the word Olympics you always think about sports competition. Well I recently discovered that there is such thing as a Hair & Makeup Olympics! Its the Asia Pacific Hairdressers and Cosmetologist Association (APHCA) 17th Hair & Makeup Olympics Competition, held on the last day of the beauty expo at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on the 7th October 2013. Supported by the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) under the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia.
The Asia Pacific Hair & Makeup Olympics Competition is an annual event held by the APHCA in different countries around Asia Pacific. This year, Malaysia was the lucky country to host this ground breaking event. This competition is open for both local and international participants which include participants from 13 APHCA-member countries; Australia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan & Thailand. The 300 category contestants will be judged by over 90 judges from the region. This is definitely an event not be missed by all beauty industry players.
That day was also the last day of the beauty expo. I got crazy shopping lol. I can't wait for the beauty expo next year. Need to start saving now haha.
